Social Learning (Planned)
Planned Feature
Social learning features are not yet available on ikigize. This section outlines the direction and user experience we plan to launch.
Social learning on ikigize is designed to make learning feel less isolated and more human. Once released, it will help learners discover each other, share progress, ask better questions, and grow through community.
What this will mean at ikigize
- Learning will happen in community, not only in individual course screens.
- People will discover helpful peers, mentors, and groups faster.
- Conversations will stay connected to learning context (course, campus, project).
- Shared activity will make progress and opportunities more visible.
- Collaboration will become a normal part of everyday learning.
What this will unlock
When implemented, social learning will support stronger motivation, faster feedback loops, and richer peer-to-peer learning across the platform. The goal is not to add noise, but to help every learner feel connected to meaningful people and momentum.
Planned social-learning areas
- Activity Feed - A shared stream of relevant learning updates.
- Communication Channels - Messaging and live conversation spaces.
- Discussions - Asynchronous knowledge sharing.
- Matchmaking - Smart discovery of people, groups, and opportunities.
- Mentorship - Structured support between mentors and mentees.
- Group Collaboration - Team-based learning and project collaboration.
